Homeopathic Consultation
A homeopathic consultation differs to that of many other health professionals. The information needed to prescribe an effective and curative homeopathic remedy, must cover your health concern and what is happening for you both physically and emotionally. Many aspects of you and your personality are considered and important. It is often the unusual little things, the sensations and feelings we experience, that guide Homeopaths directly to the medicine that is required.
It is not uncommon in Homeopathy for several different medicines to have the power to help and overcome a specific complaint. However, generally, there is one medicine that will have a major and significant impact on the symptoms and the whole person in every way. This is what we, as Homeopaths, strive to find and prescribe for our patients.
Follow up contact is essential and an important part of homeopathic treatment because each person will respond differently to their remedy. This response must be monitored to tailor make the ongoing treatment programme with regards to medicine dosage and potency. Follow up appointments vary from person to person, depending upon the nature, chronicity and severity of the complaint.
The first consultation involves discussion of your:-
- Current complaints, including details on anything things that aggravate or relieves
- Medical, personal and family history
- Current concerns, worries or stresses and their impact in your life
The homeopathic medicine is selected after careful analysis and examination of this information.
When prescribing for people with chronic complaints (i.e. symptoms have been present for an extended time) or when there is many and varied pathology and symptoms, two appointments are generally booked within a 1 week timeframe. The first is 1 If more information is needed, we will arrange a phone conversation after the initial consultation (this is included in the fee)
A phone review date will be arranged 5-7 days later
Depending on your situation, a phone review may be planned for 7 days later this is included in the initial fee. A further review may be planned for two to three weeks later to either complete treatment, or to tailor make a treatment plan for you, or your child’s individual needs.
Homeopathic Consultation times and fees
Consultation Fee - includes the 2nd phone or clinic review and medicine
Adults 1 ¼ – 1 ½ hours $120 – $150
Teens – 12 and over $90
Children under 12 1 hour $803rd and ongoing follow ups if required are:
Adults & over 12′s 45 – 1hr $60 – $80
Children 30 – 45 mins $40 – $60Phone Reviews & Acute phone consultations are charged out at $60 per hour
If emotional stress, anxiety or trauma is present, a personalised flower essence blend may be recommended.

Flower Essence Consultation
Flower essences are a powerful tool to help us through difficult emotional times and stress. Having a personalized blend made when we are struggling emotionally enables us to see ourselves more objectively and gain an increased self awareness and strength.
